INSOL International is a world-wide federation of national associations for accountants and lawyers who specialise in turnaround and insolvency. There are currently over 40 Member Associations world-wide with over 10,000 professionals participating as Members of INSOL International.
Malaysia Department of Insolvency (MdI) is the government agency that administers bankruptcy cases and bankrupts’ affairs. We also administer the winding up companies as well as administration of deregistered associations and trade unions. Our core activities are discovery of asset, realization of asset, ascertainment of debt, and distribution of payment to the creditor.
The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) is a statutory body formed as a result of a merger between the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and the Registrar of Businesses (ROB) in Malaysia which regulates companies and businesses. SSM came into operation on 16 April 2002.
Office Of The Chief Registrar was initially a unit under the Legal Affairs Division in the Prime Minister’s Department.The Office of the Chief Registrar has the task of administering the courts, personnel of the courts, and procuring the courts’ budget as it is considered the administrative arm of the Malaysian Judiciary.
